Silent Camera requires no user registration, usernames, passwords, phone numbers, or social media logins. Consequently, we never collect, store, or sell:

In the free version of Silent Camera, advertisements are displayed via Google AdMob to support continuous development. AdMob may utilize anonymous advertising identifiers (such as IDFA, if authorized) and device characteristics to serve relevant ads. 4. Global Privacy Compliance (Japan APPI, GDPR & CCPA)
We strictly adhere to Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI), the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- Data Minimization: We only process what is strictly necessary on-device to deliver camera functionality.
- Zero Data Commercialization: We have never sold, rented, or monetized personal user information, and will never do so.
- Data Sovereignty & Deletion: You retain complete control over your photos in Apple Photos. Deleting the App removes all local app-specific preferences immediately.
5. Ethical Manner Camera Usage
Silent Camera is designed for polite, courteous photography with manner shutter audio-visual feedback in quiet settings (e.g., sleeping infants, domestic pets, cafes, quiet museums, lectures). Users are strictly prohibited from using the App for surreptitious photography, harassment, voyeurism, or any activity infringing upon the privacy rights of others under applicable criminal and civil codes (including Japanese Nuisance Prevention Ordinances).
6. Children's Privacy
Silent Camera does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Since all processing is strictly on-device, the application is safe for all age groups.
