Terms of Service

1. Usage License & Intellectual Property

All software code, mathematical level generation algorithms, procedural graphics rendering, synthesized audio routines, visual interface layouts, animations, trademarks, and branding within GridEscape are the exclusive intellectual property of BeliveApp Tech and are protected by international intellectual property and copyright treaties.

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and play the App solely for your personal, non-commercial entertainment and cognitive puzzle-solving purposes.

• Restrictions: You may not modify, decompile, reverse-engineer, disassemble, decode, sublicense, distribute, or create derivative works based upon the App or any part thereof.
• Automated Play: You may not use cheats, bots, macros, automated solvers, or any unauthorized third-party software to manipulate puzzle outcomes or game progress.

2. User Eligibility & Account-Free Architecture

GridEscape is designed to be accessible to players of all ages, adhering to content ratings established by the Google Play Store (PEGI 3 / ESRB Everyone) and the Apple App Store. If you are under the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that you have reviewed these Terms with your parent or legal guardian and have their permission to use the App.

No Account Required: GridEscape does not require registration, login credentials, passwords, or personal account creation. You can play all campaign levels and daily puzzles immediately upon installation.

3. Free-to-Play Structure & Virtual Game Items

GridEscape is provided free of charge. The game does not offer paid in-app purchases (IAPs) or recurring subscription fees.

• Virtual Elements: In-game gameplay items (such as Hearts/Lives, Hints, Stars, Daily Streaks, and Level Scores) are purely virtual mechanics engineered for gameplay balance, puzzle solving, and progression tracking.
• No Real-World Value: In-game hearts, hints, and stars have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged, transferred, refunded, or redeemed for fiat currency, physical goods, or any external assets.
• Earnable Mechanics: Hints and hearts can be replenished through gameplay progression, time-based resets, or optionally by viewing rewarded video advertisements.

4. Advertisements & Rewarded Video Features

To support continuous development, level design balance, and ongoing maintenance without charging upfront download fees, GridEscape displays advertisements powered by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob).

• Interstitial Ads: Non-intrusive full-screen advertisements may appear periodically between completed levels. We implement fair ad pacing (no ads during introductory levels and minimum cooldown intervals) to prioritize an enjoyable user experience.
• Rewarded Ads: The player may optionally choose to watch a rewarded video ad to receive extra hints, recover a heart, or extend boss level countdown timers. Watching rewarded ads is entirely voluntary.
• Consent & Privacy: Advertising conforms to the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK Data Protection Act, and Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). You can review or update your advertising privacy preferences at any time in the in-game Settings / Ajustes menu.

5. Offline Play & Local Data Storage

GridEscape is fully playable without an active internet connection. Because your progress is saved locally using device storage mechanisms (such as PlayerPrefs), please be aware of the following:

• Uninstalling the App or clearing application data from your device settings will permanently erase your local progress, level history, and hint balance.
• BeliveApp Tech does not maintain cloud database servers for game save states and cannot restore deleted local game data.
• Device migration or data transfer depends entirely on your platform's native backup utilities (such as Google One or Apple iCloud device backups).

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

GridEscape is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. BeliveApp Tech expressly disclaims all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

While all puzzle layouts generated by the App are algorithmically tested and guaranteed to be solvable, we do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific personal expectations or that performance on every hardware specification will be uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall BeliveApp Tech, its founders, directors, employees, or partners be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, loss of device data, device malfunction, or gameplay interruption) arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the App.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to amend or update these Terms of Service at our sole discretion. Any modifications become effective immediately upon posting to this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued installation, access, or use of GridEscape after any posted revisions constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
