1. Collection of Data

We believe in absolute user privacy. The App is designed so that your custom inventories, locations, rooms, boxes, items, photos, and configurations remain strictly private and under your control.

We do not collect any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical location. Any details you provide during onboarding or use are stored strictly locally on your device or in your private iCloud storage, and are never shared with or sent to our servers.

The app collects standard Non-Personal Technical Data automatically to ensure stability, track subscriptions, and support the free version of the App:

• Device type, operating system version, and model.
• Anonymous advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID) dependent on your explicit consent.
• App performance logs, crash diagnostics, and stability metrics.

2. iCloud Synchronization and Local AI

Itemia utilizes modern iOS frameworks to synchronize your data and analyze physical items locally:

• iCloud Sync: Itemia utilizes Apple’s official CloudKit framework to keep your lists synchronized across all your iOS devices. This data is hosted within your private iCloud container securely managed by Apple. We do not host, store, or have access to any of your inventory names, item relationships, QR codes, or photos.
• Local AI & Image Categorization: To assist you with organizing, the App performs local on-device machine learning analysis. All item analysis and photo processing happen strictly on your hardware. We do not upload your photos to external cloud services or databases.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We work with trusted third-party service providers to deliver essential infrastructure. These parties only have access to anonymous, aggregated, or transaction-specific data required to perform their functions on our behalf:

• Google AdMob: Manages the delivery of advertisements within the free version of the App. AdMob may utilize anonymous device IDs for ad targeting, subject to your local privacy choices (GDPR/EEA consent).
• RevenueCat: Manages subscription validation status and processes purchase receipts. It handles anonymous transactional tokens to verify purchase states.

4. Local Storage

All locations, rooms, boxes, items, custom tags, purchase history and dates are stored securely on your device's internal memory via SwiftData. We do not transmit, back up, or host these metrics on external databases outside of your personal Apple iCloud sync.

5. Payments

We do not process, store, or have access to your credit card information, bank details, or billing statements. All premium subscription and purchase transactions are handled exclusively and securely by Apple Inc. through the App Store payment processing system.

6. Children's Privacy

Our service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal settings, we immediately clear this from the local shared directories.
